Podcast 10 released June 17th...

I was pleased to see a new Parrot Science podcast turn up at iTunes, and was looking forward to listening at the gym last night. But about half-way through, I quit. I found Mira Tweti to be negative and self-centered. Instead of going on endlessly about her own heroics in getting her book done in time for Christmas, using "green" paper, getting awards, being on various prominent shows, being praised by Jane Goodall, believing it's a sin to walk on wood floors, etc. ad nauseum, I would have liked to have heard more about how we can be better keepers of our companion parrots, and other stories and science about the birds.
