Dalek Mimic Parrot Returns Home

i went back and read the full story, anyway the people said that they were moving furniture and couldn't help it that he got out of a window, HUH, LAST TIME I LOOKED YOU DON'T MOVE FURNITURE OUT OF WINDOWS AND WHEN YOU ARE MOVING FURNITURE YOU DON'T HAVE A BIRD LOOSE, the fault of this bird being lost possibly forever lies with the owner for not making sure the bird was in a cage secure before furniture was moved and like i said who uses windows to move furniture out of, it is time we stop making excuses for things that happen to us and take responsibility for our actions, to take the risk of losing and possibly condeming a parrot to death because of someones lazyness when it comes to putting a bird safe in a cage when doors and windows are open or closing and locking windows and doors when a companion bird is out of cage, that is what i do, i lock my doors and windows, and if i am someone with a key is not home i still lock the door and put a piece of tape over the keyhole as that is our sign that a bird is free roaming out of it's cage, i am so sick of people saying it couldn't be helped when it can with a little foresite and getting off one's butt, and for people that take their birds outside without a flight suit on it, they are just courting disaster as they are inviting their bird to fly away to parts unknown
